Hi [08 Oct 2005|02:24am]

danceguard4lyf
Hi new member.

I'm kinda on a desperate search...

When my older sister was younger, around the time around my first Christmas in 86, my parents told her at the toy store to pick any cabbage patch doll she wanted. So she went and picked one. Well when we moved 4 years back somehow, he got misplaced and we think he accidentally got sold or taken to good will. Since then we have looked everywhere in our house for him and my uncle has looked on ebay and all, our problem we can't remember the actual name of the doll. And I'm not finding any really good websites to help out.

In case anyone can help, he's an african american bald baby doll. Brown eyes, and from about mid-80's. My sister called him Russell but we're about 95% sure thats not his real name. If anyone could help, with a website or something, I'd appreciate it :) Thanks!

anyone remember this show? i can just bearly remember part of the theme song: "....where people are puppets. and puppets are people too....slide down a rainbow, ride on a sunbeam. you've arrived...in the land...of frooze."

there was some lady dressed like a little kid in overalls and a red hat she always had turned to the side. and she wore chucks all the time.

Bow Freaking BOWnanza!

Who said hair bows went out of style in the 80's?!?!? The lil pink ones with skulls are my favorites. I decided that I'm keeping one pair of those for myself, cuz they are too adorable to pass up. There's one more pair just like em though.

They're $10 total for a set of 2 and just one bow is $7.00 total within the U.S. Everywhere else please add $3. I accept paypal that is funded through your savings/checking account. I do not accept credit/debit card paypal. I also accept money orders, cashiers checks, personal checks, and well concealed cash.

I wish I could find some pictures of childhood makeup that I use to love. You'd think that I'd be able to.

Does anyone remember the little girl's makeup called "Pizzazz"? I don't know if I'm spelling it right but it was this makeup that came on a necklace and they each came in funky shapes like triangles and hearts. Each was a different cosmetic. I remember loving it because it showed up..lol. I had this one that was bright fushia.

Okay, the second makeup: It was called "Sweet Sixteen" and it had a picture of a teenage girl on the package and it was normal makeup like lipstick and eyeshadow.

3rd: Does anyone remember Maybelline's Kissing Kooler lip glosses? These were the best. They smelled so good and they were so cute in their marble containers.

And last but not least, I use to have this little girl makeup called "Libby Lee". I bet all of you girls had it but you probably just don't recognize the name. It had a drawing of a cute little girl with brown hair and the makeup itself was like 3 nail polishes, a red lipstick (that looked red but showed up like chapstick) and I can't remember the rest but it was in a package and I remember I always thought it was odd that you'd get a pink nail polish, a red one and then a YELLOW one! lol. Now that I'm thinking about it, it was probably meant to be clear but mine was always yellow. lol. And they came in little plastic bottles with lids that popped off, you couldn't twist them or anything so needless to say, I always spilled mine. lol.

If anyone remembers these, please comment :) Or does anyone know of any great 80's nostalgia sites? I use to love Yesterdayland.com but it went off the net for some reason.

Just kind of an odd thought...

I wonder if there's any correlation between the song "Pump Up the Volume" and the movie "Pump Up the Volume." Hmm...Any thoughts?
